Christmas in July at Humane Society of the Treasure Coast
In July, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will be celebrating Christmas in July with Giving Trees at its two thrift stores in Stuart and the Palm City Shelter. Additionally, from July 6 through July 31, stores are encouraging shoppers to jump onto Christmas wish lists by shopping for featured items.
The Giving Trees feature tags representing specific needs and the corresponding donation amounts that will benefit The Humane Society’s Palm City Shelter. The trees are located at the shelter (4100 SW Leighton Farm Ave.); Thrift Store Central (2585 SE Federal Hwy, Stuart); and Thrift Store North (1099 NW 21st St, Stuart).
The public can participate in several ways:
- Pull a tag from one of the trees and donate accordingly or visit the online virtual donation tree to donate. Alternatively, supporters can call a Humane Society Christmas Elf at (772) 600-3216 to make a July Christmas donation over the phone.
- Shop at any of The Human Society’s thrift stores or The Human Society’s Amazon Wishlist. When supporters purchase from The Humane Society Wish List, Amazon automatically ships their order directly to the shelter.
- Donate a wrapped gift to place under the Christmas tree in July at the shelter or thrift store.
“The goal of this creative campaign is to celebrate the spirit of giving that brings us so much joy and happiness, while providing valuable and needed care to homeless and helpless animals in the free-access, zero-downgrade shelter. death of our community,” said Sarah Fisher. , communications manager for the Humane Society.
