We remind animal lovers that early bird draws are fast approaching for the Ottawa Humane Society‘s For the Love of Animals Lottery.

The first early bird draw will take place on March 18 at 10 a.m. The deadline to purchase eligible tickets for this draw is March 17 at 11:59 p.m.
The second early bird draw will take place on March 29 at 10 a.m. The deadline for this draw is 11:59 p.m. on March 28.
The third early bird draw will take place on April 8 at 10 a.m. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. on April 7.
All tickets are on sale until 12 p.m. Thursday, April 14.
“The current COVID-19 crisis is having a profound impact on the services of the Humane Society of Ottawa and its ability to care for animals,” the lottery’s website reads. “Your donations make all the difference for Ottawa’s helpless animals.
The grand prize of the lottery is a 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio provided by Alfa Romeo Ottawa.
Early bird prizes include a trip for two to Las Vegas, a cash prize of nearly $3,000 and a Bowflex exercise set.
Proceeds from the lottery will provide lifesaving care for the thousands of animals the OHS cares for each year.
Only persons 18 years of age or older who are in Ontario at the time of purchase may purchase tickets.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 each or in bundles of five for $100 as well as 50 for $250.
