Feature Fur Baby: Meet Cornbread
GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) – We wish you a happy Friday in the best possible way, with another Fur Baby feature!
Cornbread, 5 months, joined Maddie Kerth on the terrace on ENC at Three.
She is super nice and loving.
She spent time in foster care and learned that she adores children and other puppies.
Cornbread is a world class hugger and eager to learn new tricks for delicious treats.
She can be adopted by the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, but before you load up and head to the shelter, you can preview the animals available at petango.com.
You’ll see pictures of dogs and cats so you can request to meet specific animals. Then download the adoption application by going to hsecarolina.org.
Fill it out, submit it to AdoptHSEC@gmail.com and a member of the Humane Society team will contact you!
The Humane Society’s annual Canine Crawl is this weekend in Greenville at Town Common.
It is in loving memory of Copper, a long-time adoptive brother from the Humane Society who lost his battle with cancer.
Copper’s parents have raised over 22 animals over the past 2 years where he has taught puppies how to be good dogs and how to share with others.
The Sunday festival is free with music, games and other vendors on the deck.
Bring your four-legged friends to meet them from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Tune into WITN every Friday for our next fur babies story!
