Fort Point Beer Company is seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to build on the award-winning design work that has propelled the growth of San Francisco’s largest independent craft brewery. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for working alongside the Brand Manager to support the evolution, definition and execution of the Fort Point brand across all visual mediums. The Senior Graphic Designer should be a champion of design within the company, with a collaborative spirit, enthusiasm for an iterative design process, and unwavering attention to detail.

Our approach to brewing is to make the familiar taste exceptionally delicious. We are influenced by the artisanal brewing tradition, but we are also allergic to dogmas. Primary responsibilities:

Design for a wide range of media (including packaging, print, digital, social media, etc.) to create assets for businesses and consumers that are consistent with the Fort Point visual brand

Develop tools, models, processes and style guides to advocate and ensure brand consistency across the company

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create beautiful compelling presentations for internal and external audiences

Coordinate production of assets and manage associated consultants and suppliers, including printers, packaging specialists, creative agencies and web developers
Skills / Qualifications required:

Exceptional portfolio demonstrating the ability to generate compelling ideas and develop them into tangible design solutions across digital, print, experiential and more media

Proven ability to inventive, imaginative and resourceful problem solving, and ability to think outside the box; a strong desire to do things differently and better

Ability to work within design systems … and sometimes break the rules

Proficiency in current technical best practices, with an understanding of file formats and conversions to prepare files for digital / print distribution and publication

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Apple Keynote

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Collaborative spirit and the ability to iterate and integrate feedback

San Francisco with Work From Home we have adopted a permanent work from home policy, but your daily / weekly presence in San Francisco will be required for onsite meetings.
