Passenger traffic at the Dane County Regional Airport has rebounded from the depths of the pandemic, but not to return to where it was in 2019.


Low-cost airline Frontier Airlines said on Tuesday it would resume non-stop flights between Dane County Regional Airport and Las Vegas on August 13, with fares starting at $ 39.

“We are delighted to bring nonstop flights from Madison back to Las Vegas starting in August,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial affairs at Frontier, in a statement. “Frontier is focused on ‘Low Fares Done Right’ and these flights will provide an affordable and convenient option for local residents to visit one of the best entertainment destinations in the world.”

The promotional rate of $ 39 is available on tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m. EST on Mondays and is valid on select days until October 6. The promotional rate is not available from September 1 to 7.

Customers can purchase options a la carte or in a package called WORKS that reimburses ticket, hand baggage, checked baggage, best available seat, no-charge change fee, and priority boarding.
