Madison Technologies Achieves Cisco Operational Technology Value-Added Reseller Status

Madison Technologies has signed an agreement with IT company Cisco to become an operational technology value-added reseller for Australia and New Zealand.

Madison Technologies says the collaboration is focused on delivering communication solutions with Cisco Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, to protect people, assets and environments with real-time visibility, security and automation .

Madison Technologies CEO Paul Calabro and Cisco APJC IoT Regional Director Ross Delacour unveiled and showcased the latest Cisco IoT technologies in Brisbane River under the Gateway Bridge.

“Becoming a Cisco partner is a crucial step in our 30-year legacy connecting critical OT networks in Australia and New Zealand,” commented Calabro. “Through this collaboration, we are able to strengthen our industrial offering and provide extensive capabilities, applications and information to our valued customers and target markets.

“Cisco Partner Status is recognition of Madison Technologies’ incredible 30-year pedigree in the industrial sector and delivers exceptional value to its customers by putting them at the heart of everything they do,” Delacour responded.

As the convergence of IT and OT integration accelerates, it is vital for organizations to understand how this convergence aligns with business initiatives in security, environment, digitalization, cost management and sustainable growth to implement industrial IoT solutions, says Madison Technologies.

“The collaboration with Madison Technologies is an incredible opportunity for Cisco to expand into the OT field in Australia and New Zealand,” said Delacour.

Cisco IoT provides networking and security capabilities, infrastructure, visibility, and control. With full data visibility, real-time decisions can be made to improve operational efficiency, while reducing the risk of cybersecurity threats to OT systems.

“Cisco’s end-to-end IoT architecture demonstrates the benefits of implementing integrated industrial IoT solutions that deliver critical insight and insight into data,” notes Paul Calabro.

Acubis Managing Director Chris Acton, a Madison Technologies customer, commented: “The collaboration with Cisco complements Madison Technologies’ already exceptional industrial offering.

“Cisco is undoubtedly one of the leading experts in IT / OT architecture and Madison Technologies has the technical and industrial expertise to make digital transformation a reality in critical operational environments,” he said.
