Meet Tessa, who is now accepting applications for her new lifelong cuddly pal
Tessa, 5 years old, is looking for someone who agrees to caress her all day, every day.
If you’re someone who’s a head scratching and pet pro, you’ll want to apply!
Houston Humane Society volunteers say Tessa, a corgi mix, is described as a clingy, attention-hungry and demanding girlfriend for pets anytime and anywhere.
She can get along with other dogs and families with children, but is best suited to someone who lives alone and is looking for a companion.
Tessa’s demands? Must have a comfortable couch and must be available for constant hugs.
Meet Tessa at the Houston Humane Society, located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in southwest Houston, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to welcome Tessa into your home, you can start the adoption process by filling out this form.

Follow-up of the KPRC 2 Pet project: Ariel
Last month we met Ariel, a puppy who is SUMMERTIME FINE.
Ariel has found her forever family to be part of her world! Her adopters share that they loved her segment on KPRC 2.
Ariel’s new family also shared that they have a family rule on fictional character names – that means Ariel will be able to keep her name! They are very happy to have a new companion help fill the void after their longtime dog passed away a few months ago.
