Meet the Nebraska Humane Society’s Pet of the Week

Each week, KETV NewsWatch 7 will feature an animal for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society. If you see two cats throwing themselves against the shelter window, don’t worry…it’s just Cooper and Walker. This dynamic duo is young, athletic and attention seeking! Both love to play, eat, and inspect anyone who enters their area. But they need a specific home. Cooper and Walker have FLUTD – feline lower urinary tract disease. It sounds worrying, but it’s certainly manageable. Stress creates excess acid which causes urinary tract infections. So keep the stress low and they’re happy campers. They need a low-stress home with no other pets to wreak havoc. They need a regular schedule so their owner has an established routine. They have to go together – like a two-for-one adoption. They need fun playtime and an owner who loves them. Is it you? If so, you can adopt this adorable pair here. If these two are not suitable for you and your family, you can see all the pets available in the NHS.
