Pet of the Week: Meet Daisy
Daisy is an 11 year old Lhasa Apso weighing 21 pounds. She came to the Humane Society of Sandusky County shelter as the owner, as they could no longer take care of her.
Daisy loves to walk around, and she can go, go, and is not showing her age. She does well on a leash. She loves toys that squeak and rub her butt. She may be unsure of strangers and may be shy when she first meets you. Once she gets to know a person, their great personality will shine.
She may be over-stimulated and blow in the air, but just say “No” to her and she will calm down. Her former owner believed her to be incontinent, and the Humane Society vet agrees, she has shown that she is spared here at the shelter, having access to frequent potty breaks will be essential. We took her to the vet for a dentist, two teeth were removed and she was already 10 missing.
Her adoption fee is $ 150, which includes her sterilization, heartworm test, current vaccines, deworming, heartworm / flea prevention, and microchip. His dog license must also be purchased for residents of Sandusky County at the time of adoption, which is an additional $ 20.75.
Please visit the shelter at 1315 N. River Road to meet her. The Humane Socieity shows dogs from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. For more information call 419-334-4517 or visit humanesanduskyco.org.
