Last week, food tech companies Waterdrop and Lunchbox closed eight-figure Series B rounds; while in agtech, vertical farming Kalera announced plans to go public via a SPAC deal.
Elsewhere, a new report from the non-profit Good Food Institute found that the plant-based protein sector may need billions more in investment to meet future demand.
